Ran with Paula and the hip is continuing to improve.  The only problem is that I forgot to reset my garmin from Saturday and so it shows that I ran 12.35 miles -- if only.

Happy Running!

Met the BBK's today.  It has been a while and I was worried about keeping up but they were nice enough to take it easy.  We had a good run led by Dean and the hip is getting better every day - finally!

Met Paula and we ran the "Big Block".   I was a little frustrated because my garmin was dead and I kept trying to push buttons and felt naked with out it -  this could be a sign of garmin addiction.   I am technically challenged this week.  Anyways I took the hill too fast for a recovery day but the run felt good and I am trying to stay in check with miles instead of ramping up to fast.

Happy Running!

Met the BBK's for a cold, cold run.   It was 13 degrees when we started and 10 when we finished.   It wasn't to bad once we got going, but today was hard and a sign that I have lost a lot of fitness over the past weeks.

More technical issues.  My garmin stopped picking up distance at 5.72 when we went through the tunnel and never picked it back up.  Weird thing is I never got an alert stating that it lost reception.

Ave Pace 8:50?

Longest run since the marathon.  Pretty sad it has taken me so long to only get to 9 miles.   I met Paula early and we did the first 3.5 miles up hill and then looped back and had mostly down hill with some flat until I dropped her off at 7.5.  I then finished on my own running and looping through the neighboorhood.  I felt really good, but was really slow.

My garmin is having issues.  It is losing reception and cannot find it again unless I turn it off and back on.  Thursday it started in a tunnel on the trail but today it happened twice and both times I was in wide open space.  Not sure what to do, will have to do some research.

CONGRATULATIONS to Julie, Peggy, Cheris, Michelle M and Cheryl for winning the womens division of the St. George Expedtion Relay - Pretty awesome!
