Today was a tempo run and I am not good at them at all.  I have such a difficult time with pace and that line between pushing a little and pushing a lot.   I failed in making it a true tempo run because it really turned into more of a race pace for 5K/10K.   The first 2 miles had quite a bit of up hill and the last 2 had some gradual incline/decline and some flat.

2 mile warm up

Don't you wish you were getting ready for STG? I wish I was.

Jeff - I miss SG more than I thought I would. There is absolutely no way I could have trained but I still regret it. Saturday will be a sad day, but motivation for next year.

How is the recovery going? Are you running Boston? I am toying with the idea because not running this year was worse than missing SG. Need to find a training group.

I'm contemplating the runner's series for next year to get into SG. I am planning on running Boston. Booked my hotel a couple weeks ago. Keep up the running.
