Met Paula this morning for an easy run.  I was unsure what would happen and I felt great until 2.5 and then the pain came back.  I decided to stop and walk home and not push it.  Now, what to do about my fat, lazy self............

Happy Running!

Jody! You are the total opposite of FAT and LAZY! You are one of the most dedicated people I know! You were smart to back off though. Pop some IB's and hope for a bettter day tomorrow. I hope you can make it. India might be exactly what you need. A little warmth helps those muscles and aching bones relax a bit.

Dusty and I were just commenting on how amazing you looked when we saw you this past weekend. You are not fat and lazy, in fact I thought you looked like you had lost weight!!And just think of me when you are feeling fat and that should make you feel better! Sorry about your knee, your trip sounds like it is coming at the perfect time so your knee can heal up. Take care!

Fat and Lazy? I didn't think you were supposed to talk about other people like that on your blog :) You're actually very smart not pushing an injury! It will only come back with a vengance if you do. Hope to see you tomorrow, if not enjoy India!

Yea, ditto all of that! You are skinny minnie if ever I have seen one. And you work your butt off and get up early every morning to fit it into your schedule. It is hard to work, be a mom, and exercise. I NEVER did it, NEVER!!! You are amazing!

Relax a little and get some sleep if you can! And take care of your knee!!

Stop it right there! You are ANYTHING but fat and lazy!! You are always such a great example to me of the OPPOSITE of fat & lazy! Sorry your knee is having issues- bugger! Give it a couple days and give yourself a pat on the back for being mom, wife, friend, runner, professional and church worker extraordinaire!
