8 easy miles today. I met Paula at 5:45 and we ran 6 together. She had speed going until she almost got hit by a car, I am so glad she is okay! Today was a recovery run for me, so nice easy run for the joy of running day. We finished at 6 miles and as I was heading home I realized that I still had 15 minutes before I needed to be home so I added on to make 8 for the day.

Its so nice to have those easy days. Great job on adding on after. It was good to talk to you last night!

Great job Jody! I'm glad Paula is OK! There have been way too many near misses lately! We really have to be on the lookout while we are running! I never assume that a car sees me unless I see them make eye contact with me. It's just too scary! Usually when a car hits a runner, the runner isn't going to be the winner.

WHOA---you added on two miles in 15 minutes, that is FAST! Great run for the fun of running, and even in the rain!

Glad Paula is okay--it is getting dark!!

Great run and my heartrate is back to normal now from my almost hit and run!

Thanks for running with me this morning.
