Oh, so good to be home!  While I loved NYC, I am so grateful to be where there is fresh air, fewer people, less profanity and less smoking.  We had a great time but as soon as you are away from your kids you miss them terribly.

I got up to run today and realized that I left a lot my  running clothes at the hotel.   I am a compulsive over packer and packed extra "just incase"  I thought that my husband checked all the drawers but he just checked his.  The Marriott people are wonderful and are shipping them home today.  I do not want to know how much it is costing me, but I will be happy when they arrive.

I did manage to run today anyways with Paula.  It was great to catch up with her and have a running partner again.  I brought "legs of lead" back with me so the pace was slow, even though they felt like they were working hard.

It's always hard to come back from vacation...but it is nice to be home. Thanks for writing about your NYC running. It was almost like being there. I hope you get your running gear back soon!

Sounds like you had a great time in New York. I enjoyed reading about it, it was almost like being there. Good luck with everything.

Oh thats a bummer you left your clothes! Sounds like you had a great time and I am sure Jay loved every minute of baseball he got to watch. GLad you got a run in. You are really starting to get it all back!

Your trip sounds awesome. I also enjoyed reading about your running in Central park. Running the NY marathon is one of my goals. I'm glad you are getting your clothes back. They may not charge you anything. I was mad at myself for not searching our hotel room better. My daughter lost 2 DS games. I am hoping this is will teach her to take better care of her stuff.

Welcome back! We've left Tom's gear at a hotel before! It's almost as stressful as leaving one of your kids behind! J/K! But he was pretty happy to get it back! As I'm sure you will be!

Jody, left your running clothes? Thats why you had lead legs today running in your hubby's steel toe boots. Pretty darn fast run, 9 minute miles.
