Last night my leg was sore all evening, so I called Paula and said that I was not going to run today.  I woke up in pain during the night and took some IB and it helped a little.  Needless to say, I have a very large bruise on my outer calf today and it is still very sore.  I am thinking that some time off completely is in order.  I do not think I will be running Salt Lake.  I would rather get healthy than hobble along all year and not be at my best.

I know it's hard to take time off, but I think it's probably smart. Get better and then be able to run feeling your best! Keep us updated regardless!

Jody--It's best to get healthy. I used pool running and cycling successfully when I've been injured in the past--you can maintain a good deal of fitness with cross-training. Good luck!
