I ran today with the St. George club.  The guys and Marcie started out and I ran with Linda.  We had a good run from Utah Hill into St. George.  I was a little nervous because of the hills we were seeing as we drove out.  They weren't too bad.  It was all going well until mile 13.  At miled 13 I was getting a little tired but doing okay and then at mile 14 it got really tough.  The last two were definitely very difficult for me but overall I am very happy with the run.  It was my longest run ever and our ave pace was 8:04.  We were around 7:55 until the last two miles.  A big THANK YOU to Linda for sticking with me the entire time and encouraging me along.  Another THANKS to the club and Marcie for letting me tag along.

Happy Running!!

Jody, that's awesome!!! You're such a fast runner, I'm actually surprised to hear you haven't already run a marathon. GREAT JOB on your longest run!!!!!! Your pace is always so inspiring to me. Enjoy St. George and it's warm weather!!!

Jody, 100 commando points today, all the cold winter mornings have paid off. Avg. 8:04, great. Hey, getting tired and fighting past the pain is all about how you will feel the last few miles of the marathon. Very good practice. See you next saturday for the 15K.

Congratulations! What a long, speedy run, and it wasn't even a race! You are one tough chica. At the 1/2 marathon point you probably set a new PR, right?

I couldn't even tell you were having a tough time those last few miles. It was a great run. We'll have to hook up again. How did you son do at his baseball tournament?
