Complete Rest, Day 2:

Not much to report.  Still a big bruise on my leg from the DTM.  There is still some pulling so apparently we have not quite found the knot causing all the problems.  It still hurts a little to walk on and yesterday we went bowling and it did not like that at all.

Spent this morning watching my girls play softball.  They both played really well.  Us the fans just tried to endure the freezing cold wind.  My husband saw Paula out running so a big "WHOO HOO" for her because it was pretty nasty.

Happy Running & Resting!

Jody, sorry to hear about the calf. Hey sometimes a calf will heal fairly quickly with time off and a massage to loosen things up. Hope for the best.

Hope the rest helps your calf. I think there is nothing more frustrating than wanting to run but physically unable to do so.

I saw your dad running down the parkway trail as I was running up. So call and tell him good job.

I was thinking of running the Hurricane 1/2 but my husband has almost talked me into going to Provo to watch their track meet at BYU that weekend. He doesn't have meets on Mother's Day weekend so I may go to Kanab and run the Kanab 10k. It is a very pretty run and mostly down hill. :-)

Thanks for coming by and saying, "hi!" on my blog. I look forward to this whole running experience.

I am sorry to hear about your calf and not being able to do SLC. Things will workout. Get rested and recovered!

You did not miss out on much the wind was aweful and I didn't run very fast but I was glad to get it done. I'm not sure that I will survive softball after today. It was SOOOOOOOO COLD. Get feeling better I need my running partner back. My level of dedication is not high enough. I'm an aweful support group.

Hopefully you are feeling better after icing it this morning at the game:)

At least you haven't been missing any great weather while your leg is healing. I hope this week is better for you!!!!
