We went to the Olympic Oval this morning.   A one mile warm up and then got down to business.  I still was not at the speed I would like but I much better than my last two runs.  My calves were much better and my legs still felt heavy but nothing like yesterday.  The Australian speed skating team was warming up  and it was interesting to watch as we finished up with a 1/2 mile cool down.  Glad to be feeling a little more back to normal.

I'm jealous you got to see the speedskaters. We watched them walk in and were excited to see them skate. You were looking great this morning!

Great workout today! What's up w/ the calves? Did I miss an injury or are you just recovering from some tough workouts?

Christi,

Not sure what happened but they have really been tight & sore but yesterday was the worst - they were on fire!!

Brent, no stick :( I have been working on the massaging and stretching. Thanks for the well wishes. Hope to see you there!

Great workout! I'm really looking forward to getting back into faster workouts. Glad the calves are better!

Great run, Jody! I'm sorry your calves have been such buggers lately - hopefully you're back to 100% soon! I love seeing your fast pace! I can't wait till I see more improvement in my pace. I'm still unfortunately in the double digits. :o)
