Leg 30 - This is the first leg at the final major exchange.  We got about 3 hrs of sleep in the car and I was so tired I did not hear people getting up and out of the van.   Slept great which is CRAZY!

I was pretty nervous to start my last leg because my second run did not go well.   Started out and felt pretty good and began pushing the pace as I could see people to pick off.  There were not alot because we had gained quite a bit of time over night.  It was a beautiful morning in Heber and I ended up feeling really good.   I wish I had warmed up a little so that I did not have to warm up during my leg but felt very strong at the end.  Ave Pace 7:50

It was a great experience and I learned quite a bit since this was my first Wasatch Back.   Thanks to a Great BBK team and friends who made this such a fun experience.  Our team time was 25:58:19 and we were the 8th team overall to finish.   Due to some poor course marking our last runner took a wrong turn along with many others so we ended up running 189 miles instead of 188.   Can't wait to see where we we ended up finishing.

Jody, you did an AMAZING job on the race and CONGRATS on your team's finish! Our last runner was confused as well, but luckily there were a few more runners around when we finished and she could just follow them. You are such a strong runner!!!

WOW!!!! You guys did so great!! What am experience, and to come in 8th out of so many teams is just AMAZING!! You super fast people. We arrived at that last exchange and saw your car there, slept for about an hour, woke up and you guys were gone. I told Scott you guys were going to be super fast as you started way after us and were already gone! SO VERY COOL!!!!

GREAT JOB!
